Inspired by the noble thought of providing learning opportunity in Physical Education to the rural and  tribal lads from the surrounding areas, Hon'ble Madhukarrao Dhanaji Chaudhari (Former Chairperson Maharashtra State Assembley and Education Minister Government of Maharashtra) established Sadguru  Education Society in 1989. Prior to the establishment of this Institute Students from Jalgaon District were  compelled to go to Mumbai, Pune, Amravati, Aurangabad to study the needy and poor remained deprived of such a facility, because of the High Cost Education.

COURSES AND CURRICULAR RUN BY PHYSICAL EDUCATION COLLEGE

BACHELOR IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION ( B. P. ED.) -
In the year 1990 for the first time, Bachelor in Physical Education One Year Degree Course was started and the teaching started in the same academic year.

MASTER OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION (M. P. ED.) -
The college applied to North Maharashtra Universityto seek permission to start M. P. Ed. In its inspection, the university appointed committee found the infrastructure,library, Teaching Facility and all other facilities to be adequate and highly satis factory. On the basis of the committee report the North Maharashtra University granted permission to start one year master of physical education,in the year 1992 (North Maharashtra University letter NMU/92/5/J/34/4313 dated 18-5-02) According to the newly framed rules of University grant commission the duration of M. P. Ed. Course was increased two years. Subsequently North Maharashtra University following the UGC Norms introduced two year M. P. Ed. Course which is currently run in College
